Vehicle Description This 57 T-Bird is one of approximately 1400 built and one of only 280 with the T-85 3-speed transmission with overdrive.
The car received a total frame off restoration, completed in 2013.
Engine completely rebuilt by renown engine builder Ronnie Groff, of San Antonio, Texas, clocking approximately 300 miles since completion.
The car has had the same owner since 2014 and has been kept in an environmentally controlled facility as part of a small private collection.
The car is started regularly and driven occasionally, with only 147 miles put on it since 2014.
It's in beautiful condition and everything works, even the clock.
The original Town & Country radio has had the guts replaced with modern technology including Blue Tooth.
Everything else is completely stock.
It comes with the rare original 1957 port hole delete hard top.
There is no soft top but has a custom made full tonneau cover.
It is further set off by the Kelsey-Hayes chrome wire wheels with period correct Firestone wide whitewall tires.
The original T-85 3 speed transmission shifts smoothly as does the overdrive.
It accelerates, drives and stops straight, just as it should.
