FCSD Mentor Coach
Stipend will be established commensurate with 2018-19 staffing; mentor assignments will be developed after staff has been hired.
Selection for mentoring positions will be based on teaching duties/assignments of incoming and year 2 staff.
Mentors will operate within the district mentoring program, with is lead by our TLC Mentor Specialist, a certified trainer.
All mentors must be approved by building principals.
Mentors will work closely with district and building administration to continue the district mentoring program, which serves teachers in years 1-2 of their profession. The Mentoring head coach will organize and facilitate the program, which aligns with ISEA's "Journey to Excellence" program. Mentors will also assist in facilitation of professional development and project construction as suited for new teachers and mentor teachers. Universal, detailed expectations for evaluation and performance will be outlined by building principals to ensure consistent evaluation through the district mentoring program.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
