Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, FNP or PA-Emergency
University managed health care group seeks an Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work ER weekends in rural Southeast Iowa - southeast of Ottumwa, IA! Only work 6-7 days per month but paid a full salary.
FNP or PA will have the opportunity to work with a group that is University of Iowa affiliated but with a small town personal feel! This position is replacing a relocating physician.

About the ER opening:
o Every other weekend: Friday 7p-Monday 7p, sleep in the hospital, 6-10 new admits per day on average into the ER.
o MD back up always on call, with full ancillary staff always on site (emt, RN's, LPNs, etc). Enjoy your weeks off!
o Treating all ages
o APRN (Advanced Practice Registered Nurse)/ MSN / ARNP/ FNP-BC, Family Nurse Practitioner or PA/Physician Assistant needs to be hands on, patient oriented and take on a leadership role because their will not be admin or an MD on site during these weekends.
Requirements:
o Can work alone in the ER/emergency room/emergent care and has ER experience
o Not open to new grads
Compensation:
o $89-108,000/year in salary - plus 9% pension
o Excellent health benefits, dental, Vision, LTD-STD, 401k, and life benefits. 9% Iowa Pension contribution!
o 1 month in PTO/time off per year plus 3 days for CME'sEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
