Cambridge Investment Research, Inc., a national leader as a securities broker/dealer, has an opening in Continuity Partner Group (CPG) for a full time Senior Liaison, Relationship Management. The Senior Liaison works under the direction of the Vice President, Continuity Partners and consults in the daily function and activities in the department that includes but not limited to succession, acquisition and business growth plan and financing.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Utilize comprehensive understanding of business coaching, practice management techniques, succession planning solutions and trends in the market place to support CPG members
Provide proactive service to CPG members with constant contact through outbound calls and ability to provide guidance for problem-solving via incoming telephone, voice mail, e-mail and occasionally in-person requests professionally and courteously
Interact with CPG members to proactively develop strong business relationships including consulting on planning for growth and development of member's financial practice
Establish and/or update functional continuity and succession plans with each CPG member
Develop knowledge of valuation processes for securities and investment advisory practices
Consult with internal and external customers and provide guidance on Continuity Partners Group (CPG) including CPG structure, purpose, policies/procedures and business plan
Assist members with acquisition financing, working capital loans, or continuity plan implementation and providing advice and guidance as necessary
Maintain a thorough understanding of industry knowledge of key topics affecting major competing Broker/Dealers and Third Party Custodians including internal and external programs being offered to rep-advisors, branches and fee-only advisors.
Education/
Experience:
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or five or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates and Licenses:
Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7 is required.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
