Cambridge Investment Research, Inc., a national leader as a securities broker/dealer, has an opening in Accounting for a full time Fee Billing and Processing Services Specialist.
This position is to effectively assist in responsibilities and activities of the managed accounts functions of the accounting department.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Accurate data entry into various accounting software packages, including accurate and timely general ledger and management fee entry into commission system
Accurate processing of quarterly and interim management fees, including precise management fee and service fee calculations
Maintain, update and distribute various management fee schedules
Ability to meet applicable Service Level Standards
Various clerical functions as necessary including but not limited to copying, collating, and faxing
Professional and courteous problem solving and trouble-shooting of inbound phone, voice mail, e-mail and occasionally in-person inquiries from the company's existing registered representatives, new representatives, staff and sponsors regarding management fee issues
Other duties as assigned
Non-Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Be available at the direction of supervisor to cross-train or assist in another department or position as necessary.
Assist with miscellaneous projects.
Education/
Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
