FWS Ayurveda Clinic Assistant

Summary:
The Ayurveda Clinic Assistant, directly reporting to the Clinic Assistant Supervisor, will assist in serving the community by supporting the Doshi Center for Integrative Health and Maharishi AyurvedaThe Ayurveda Clinic Assistant is responsible for learning and assisting with Ayurvedic treatment preparations, kitchen tasks, treatment room protocols, scheduling, office assignments, and clinic maintenanceThis position offers valuable hands-on experience in Maharishi Ayurvedic medicine and holistic health practices.Students this Position Appeals to:
This position is ideal for students with a passion for Ayurveda or natural holistic medicine, and those interested in gaining practical experience in clinic operations and patient careStudents pursuing paths related to health coaching or natural healing will gain experience and knowledge applicable to running a holistic health practice, self-employment, or entrepreneurship.Experience Gained / Advantages for Student:
Hands-on experience in ayurvedic treatments and protocols. Exposure to ancient Ayurvedic medicinal knowledge. First-hand learning of Ayurvedic treatment room setup, and clinic maintenance. Learning how to use scheduling software and assisting with client scheduling. Opportunity to work closely with experienced technicians and learn from their expertise. Responsibilities:
Proper treatment room setup and restocking. Learning prepping treatment protocols and procedures. Kitchen duties; clean all materials used, dishes and setup materials for treatments, or make necessary formulas. Proper cleaning procedure for the treatment room, i.ere-stock linens/materials used, bathroom, prepare the room for treatment with appropriate materials depending on the treatment. Clinic Maintenance:
vacuum, remove trash, upkeep stock room, upkeep laundry, etc. Learn Charm software and how to schedule clients and assist the scheduler. Assist Vaidya and Vaidya Assistants in clinical duties. Possibility of assisting PK Techs performing ayurvedic treatments on clients after proper training.Job

Possess a genuine interest in Ayurveda and holistic health practices, with enthusiasm to learnPrevious schooling/training in Ayurveda is preferred. Comfortable with the intimate and sensitive nature of the job:
The role involves intimate interactions with clients, including performing massages and other hands-on treatmentsCandidates should feel comfortable and confident in these situations, maintaining professionalism and respect for client privacy and boundaries. Ability to handle the physical and mental demands of the job:
The role requires physical stamina to perform tasks such as standing for extended periods, lifting heavy objects, and engaging in hands-on treatmentsAlso, candidates should show resilience and emotional stability to manage the position's demands effectively.Location:
